Motocross/Off Road

It’s no secret that you need both strength and endurance to make it in motocross. Your competition is in the gym, you need to be there too - working as harder than they are. The best riders put in time at the gym - they train to overcome the rigors of race day and maintain peak performance until the checkered flag. We focus on training the whole body so all the muscle groups work in conjunction with each other to make you stronger and faster than you ever thought possible!

Each athlete is an individual, what works for one racer doesn’t necessarily work for another. This is a customized program built around YOU and that trains YOU for YOUR specific racing discipline. We treat each athlete individualy and believe that as our core mission to make you the best racer you can be.

Our program not only addresses common problems such as arm pump, weakness and late moto fade. We also address nutrition, flexability and your mental game. Find what needs changing, how to go about it, make a plan and attack it!
Ignoring your body is like ignoring your bike - it'll catch up with you sooner or later.

What do we focus on?
​
    •  Strength - Movements specifically used to enhance your on bike capabilities and strengthen your control of the bike such as Bent Row (pulling) Bench Press (pushing) Squats (sitting to standing) 


 

    •  Endurance - Building your cardio base and expanding it so    you can outpace your competition using High Intensity Interval workouts as well as running and steady state bicycle training


 

    •  Mental Strategy - Diving into where your mind should be on race day with mental drills to help shut out distractions and sharpen your focus

 

    •  Nutrition - Exercise is only part of a winning formula. We zero in on the foods that will not only compliment your program but are realistic to your lifestyle. Using nutrition tracking software we can develop your custom nutrition plan.

 

    •  Recovery - This will encompass many aspects of your life including - exercise, nutrition (food and supplements), sleep, stress and injuries. Tracking specific parts of our program (strength and cardio gains, nutrition and sleep) is the first step and addressing other obstacles (stress and other distractions) will follow. Recovery is essential to your success and is a top priority.

  • Custom workouts based on your specific goals that work around your schedule and lifestyle. You will have a personalized dashboard via the FitSW to see your workouts, track strength gains, body measurements and more using the FitSW app and desktop versions of the software

 

  • Nutritional guidance - we’ll dissect your diet, find areas that need improvement and make those changes to ensure you stay on track

  • Weekly check-ins to answer questions, extra coaching as needed as well as periodical assessments of goals

 

  • Flexibility and stretching routines for morning, throughout the day, pre and post workout and ride day

 

  • Support - unlimited messaging and phone calls upon request.

 

  • Form video review - I will analyze video of your exercise form and provide feedback to ensure your workouts are safe and you can make the most of your time in the gym

What to expect from the Motocross and Off Road program when you start 

​

When you make the decision to start training with us, we will send you client intake forms - health history questionnaire, body measurements, Par-Q form and a liability waiver that everyone must fill out, sign & return. Once we receive them, they are reviewed and a time is scheduled to speak on the phone to go over everything to get your first workouts started!

​

Next we create your personalized FitSW account. The FitSW app works on iOS and Android devices as well as all desktop computers. Since we deliver all of your workouts as well as track all of your progress through the app, setting up your account and becoming comfortable with it is important! After we create your account, you will receive a confirmation link and finish the set-up.

​

We create and input your training program into your FitSW account. From here you can view it, confirm completion and review after it’s completed. Every workout comes with detailed videos for each exercise and well as personalized instructions from as needed.

​

Every 6 - 8 weeks we schedule body measurements to be re-taken and added to your progress chart to track your progress. From here we will make changes if needed to your program.
